Wash Paintings Sometimes it’s best to get to know a subject before you commit. These simple wash paintings allow me to capture a scene or composition quickly while in the field.	Summer in Maine I spent last summer in Maine as a guest of one of my longtime friends. The beautiful landscapes and people gave me much to capture.
